It is a useful choice when you want cheese and vegetables together rather than a smooth sauce alone.

The paneer gives each mouthful substance, while the pieces of pepper and onion offer a different texture. A spoonful can include a little of each, or you can scoop up the masala with bread between bites. The photographs are redesigned from the restaurant’s original image; presentation and garnish may vary when served.

In Indian cooking, kadai refers to a deep, wok-like pan. Published recipes differ in how much sauce they use and which spices they include. Kadai Paneer or another paneer dish?

For a group, decide whether paneer is your main focus or one dish among several. Bread is convenient for sharing spoonfuls of the masala, while rice offers another way to build each bite.
